Thanksgiving Holiday

Just an FYI for you guys — The university will be closed this coming Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Any messages sent to the GMBA Advisor or GMBA Support will be queued and we’ll get to them as soon as possible when we return on Monday, November 26.

The UTD Help Desk will also be closed Thursday through Saturday. They will have phone support (972-883-2911) on Sunday from 1-5pm.

Upcoming change in textbook list posting

Earlier today, I posted about the new textbook list for Spring 2008 being posted on our site. I want to let you know in advance, however, that this will be the last semester we post this information on our website. One of our reasons for this change is that UTD is about to begin making textbook information (including ISBN’s) for all classes available online for students to access. (Read UTD Mercury article about the new program here.) Since this is basically the same information that we have provided over the past few semesters, we’ve decided to align our online courses with the on-campus courses in this manner so that our processes are consistent. We anticipate this new service to be very useful to our online students as well as those of you taking both online and on-campus courses. As always, let us know if you have any questions.

Spring 2008 Textbook List

Greetings folks! Just wanted to let you all know that the textbook list for Spring 2008 is now available on our website on the the Spring ‘08 Course Offerings page and also on the Textbook Ordering and Other Links page. This list has been sent to the on-campus bookstore and Off-Campus Books. Let us know if you have any questions.

Early Registration
