Last Day to Register for Summer: May 21st!

Attention Students: One Week left to register for Summer 2008 Courses. Regular registration ends on May 21st. Please get your course registration in to Corina Cantua by the weeks end (May 16, 2008). Courses begin May 23rd so remember “By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail”-Benjamin Franklin.

Graduating This Summer?

Beginning this year (2008), UTD will no longer be holding a summer commencement ceremony. If you will be graduating this Summer 2008 semester and are interested in participating in a commencement ceremony, please contact your advisor to determine which ceremony you can participate in - the Spring 2008 or Fall 2008 ceremony. Graduation Applications due January 15th

Another reminder from Corina: The last day to apply for Spring 2008 graduation is January 15th. (After this date, there will be a $100 fee.) Students can find instructions and apply for graduation by visiting the Office of Graduate Studies website.

Late Registration ending soon!

Corina asked that I remind you all that January 14th is the last day of late registration. This will be the last day you guys can add any classes or make any changes to your schedule. Just a friendly reminder — hope classes are going great!

Reminder About Core Courses

Remember to send in your registration request within the next few days. Online core MBA courses will become available to campus students starting December 18th and will most likely fill up by the end of that day. Email your registration to GMBA Advising and put “MBG Registration” in the subject line.

Waiting on the GMBA Advisor?

Greetings folks! I hope everything turned out great with your Fall ‘07 courses. I know a few of you have contacted Corina, our GMBA Advisor, and you might or might not have heard back from her just yet. (Some of you have actually contacted me checking on this, which is why I thought I’d post this.) I just wanted to let you know that the entire Advising office (in particular our GMBA Advisor) is incredibly busy right now handling walk-in students, phone-in students, as well as students who email in requests. Be assured that Corina is working on your requests as quickly as possible, and your issue(s) will be addressed. Thanks for your patience!

Early Registration

Greetings folks! As I’m sure you all know, early registration begins today. I just want to send a quick reminder to please send all questions and requests regarding registration to the GMBA Advisor (gmbaadvising@utd…) email address. Thanks!

Graduation Application Due

If you will be graduating this Fall 2007 semester, you must submit a graduation application by tomorrow, August 24th.  You can find the application along with instructions here.  Make sure to read the instructions before submitting the application to ensure your application is submitted properly.

Last Day To Add A Course

Today, August 23rd, is the last day to add a course for the 16 week or 1st 8-week sessions.  Make sure you send in your email by 3 o’clock today to ensure you are added on time.  There will be no exceptions made.  You can verify all registration deadlines through the Academic Calendar.
